Manufacturing Process of Sintered NdFeB Magnets
The production of sintered NdFeB magnets involves several crucial steps. Initially, raw materials including neodymium, iron, and boron are melted and cast into ingots. These ingots are then processed into fine powder through hydrogen decrepitation and jet milling. The powder undergoes alignment in a magnetic field and is compressed into desired shapes. The sintering process follows, where the compressed powder is heated just below the melting point, creating strong neodymium iron boron magnets.
